Annual Parish Council Meeting 20/05/2019 19.00 Hrs Village Hall.
Agenda on Parish Notice Boards.
Everyone is welcome to listen to the Milson and Neen Sollars Choir sing the Hallelujah Chorus and other well known tunes.
Our daughter, Florence, is getting married on 11th May and, as part of the celebrations in the evening, we will be having a seven minute firework display set to the second half of the 1812 Overture.
You are very welcome to come and see/hear the display close-up which is the best way to appreciate it. The event should start somewhere between 10.10pm and 10.20pm at a guess, depending on speeches and how fast Florence's guests eat !
Please use the footpath opposite the back gate of the church and follow the route marked with tape into the viewing area; please bring a torch as there is a stile to cross and the ground is uneven. David and Anita Clements have kindly offered some parking at the Old Railway Tavern.
The start time is not set in stone so please bear with us if the display starts at 10.20 rather than 10.10pm; in the event of rain the display will still take place.
On a related note, I would like to apologise in advance for the dance music which will finish no later than 3am but I will turn the bass down after 1.30am
With best wishes
Charlie and Emma"

At 9pm this evening PBS America (Freeview channel 94) are screening the film charting David Bremner's quest to recreate and fly his grandfather's WW1 Bristol Scout aircraft. The aircraft was assembled at Milson Airfield in 2015/16
It is quite a poignant film in places, giving many insights into what it was like to operate an aircraft in places such as Gallipoli and the western front. Well worth a watch.
David's is a local family, from Tenbury Wells, and some of his grandfather's commentary, recorded for the Imperial War Museum sound archives, was also used in Peter Jackson's recent stunning film about the Great War.
