  1. Open Reach/DCMS Voucher Initiative

Update: Installation being carried out In line with March 2022 going live.

Activity seen around village.

 

  1. Salt boxes alongside roads/hills

Decision to purchase 25Kg bags and place in hi-risk areas of the village prior to Winter, replacement bags provided on request.

DHJ confirmed that two pallets of salt have been distributed around the Village and the scheme has been received well.

 

  1. General Data Protection Regulations 2018

  1. Defibrillators –
    • Parishioner Gavin Hamilton has agreed to take over the day to day running of the scheme and will report back to the PC on any changes/updates. GH will undertake to train as trainer for first responders.

 

  1. Lengthsman progress
    • Work sheets made available to Council on request.
    • Report of missing drain covers between Milson and Trapnell bridge images to be provided to Highways.

 

  1. Web Page.
    • A new site partner has been investigated called “netwiseuk.com”. They offer a Windows based platform with the graphics style of the current site.

  • The setup cost is £399.00 +VAT, the build will be much quicker than the current web page as all the work has been done, the ongoing cost is £200 per annum which is £50 more, and the domain name will have to have a diverter which will cost £15 per annum unless we can get the title back off Upperbridge. The page has all the social media interfaces.

The current site is complicated and labour intensive, the Windows based pages from Netwise are drag and drop.

  • Parishioner requesting each Child in Milson and Neen Sollars receive a £5 voucher Christmas present from the Village.

Funding will be approx. £100, Motion raised by CJ and seconded MWH agreed unanimously.

The criteria for receiving the Voucher Children must:

  • Parishioner requesting £197.91 for lights and decoration for the Christmas tree at Jubilee Garden (to remain property of Parish Council)

Motion raised by CJ and seconded SP agreed unanimously.

 

  • Parishioner has identified the increased number of Children in Neen Sollars and requests a review of relevant signage i.e., Beware Children at play.

Signage has been purchased, but waiting to be installed.
